The City of Trinidad has adopted and elected to render itself subject to the terms and provisions of the Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act, codified at California Public Contract Code Sections 22000, et seq. (the "Act"). Pursuant to the Act (Section 22034(a) of the Public Contract Code), the City of Trinidad is seeking to establish a new list of qualified contractors by emailing written notice to the required construction trade journals designed for Humboldt County under Section 22036.
The City of Trinidad is inviting all licensed contractors to submit the name of their firm for inclusion on our list of qualified bidders. To be included on the list, please email cityclerk [at] trinidad.ca.gov (cityclerk[at]trinidad[dot]ca[dot]gov) the required information listed below.
Required information to be included on our qualified contractors list are as follows:
- Name and address to which a Notice to Contractors or Proposal should be emailed.
- A phone number at which the contractor may be reached.
- The type of work in which the contractor is interested and currently licensed to do (earthwork, electrical, painting, general, etc.)
- The class of contractor's license(s) held.
- The contractor license number.
- The contractor's Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) Contractor Registration Number.
