City Council Candidate Nomination Period Opens

Are you a civic-minded resident with a desire to help shape the future of your City?  If so, consider running for one of four (4) seats that will be open on the City Council in November.  There are three 4-year terms, and one 2-year term that need thoughtful and committed residents to fill.  The City Council serves the community on a voluntary basis, with a resourceful and experienced staff in place to support the current policies and programs it establishes.  Participating in City leadership can be fulfilling in many ways.  Decisions made at the local level have potential to shape the City for generations to come.  Click here to find more information on the nomination process and important deadlines.
