All dogs that reside inside City of Trinidad limits must be licensed with the City.
Dogs that reside outside City limits (Westhaven, Patrick's Point, Big Lagoon, etc.) are required to be licensed with the County of Humboldt.

Dog licensing procedures and Animal Control regulations within the City limits are authorized by Trinidad Municipal Code.
