The City of Trinidad established an Animal Control Advisory Committee on March 12, 2024 in response to public concerns after several incidents involving loose and aggressive dogs. The purpose of the committee is to 1) review and make recommendations regarding current dog-related ordinances and regulations, 2) develop communications and awareness programs that encourage adherence to regulations, and 3) to assist the Council in pursuing dog-related project funding.
The Committee meets monthly, or on an as-needed basis. Agendas and meeting packet material are published in the document archives of this website, and in the Calendar page where meeting date, time, and locations are listed.
Committee members are:
